At Glen Park Senior Living, we use Amazon Alexa™ as part of our structured music engagement program to create personalized, meaningful musical experiences for our residents.

Familiar songs can spark recognition, encourage movement, reduce anxiety, and create moments of joy and connection. For many individuals living with memory impairment, music becomes a bridge — reconnecting them to memories, emotions, and identity.

By incorporating music intentionally into daily routines, we create uplifting experiences that support both emotional wellness and cognitive connection.

Digital Picture Frames

Maintaining identity is one of the most important aspects of dementia care. Our digital picture frames help residents stay connected to their life stories, families, and daily experiences.

These secure, easy-to-view digital frames allow families to upload photos directly to their loved one’s device — sharing milestones, holidays, and everyday moments in real time. At the same time, our Life Enrichment team updates frames with photos from community events, celebrations, and outings.

We also incorporate meaningful images from a resident’s past — former careers, hobbies, travel, or special achievements — helping reinforce identity and spark conversation.

By blending technology with heart, we help residents feel seen, valued, and deeply connected.

Snoezelen®

Sensory Trolley

Individuals living with memory impairment often respond positively to sensory-based engagement. Snoezelen® Sensory Trolley are thoughtfully curated carts filled with tactile, visual, auditory, and calming items designed to meet residents where they are.

These mobile stations allow our team to bring personalized sensory experiences directly to a resident’s bedside or favorite space — especially during moments of anxiety, restlessness, or withdrawal.

Grounded in brain-based dementia care approaches, sensory engagement can help regulate emotions, reduce overstimulation, and create meaningful interaction without pressure.
