Advanced Training. Elevated Standards. Exceptional Dementia Care.
At Glen Park Senior Living, excellence isn’t assumed — it’s intentionally built through advanced training, respected certifications, and a deep commitment to continuous improvement.
For more than a decade, we have voluntarily maintained CARF accreditation, completing a rigorous evaluation process that strengthens our operations, safety standards, and quality of care. This reflects our commitment to exceeding industry benchmarks and giving families true peace of mind.
But credentials alone don’t define us.
Our greatest investment is in our people — equipping every team member with specialized dementia education, brain-based care techniques, and crisis prevention training to ensure compassionate, confident support every day.
✔ CARF Accredited Community – Voluntarily meeting rigorous standards that exceed industry benchmarks
✔ Certified Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Trainers (CADDCT®) on staff
✔ Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP®) Training for our caregiving team
✔ Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) Certification – Brain-based, person-centered dementia techniques
✔ CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification – Evidence-based verbal de-escalation and crisis prevention training
✔ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Training

Through continuous education and hands-on skill development, we create calmer environments, stronger relationships, and greater peace of mind for families.

Glen Park proudly has three Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainers (CADDCT®) on our leadership team. Through this nationally recognized program, our staff complete comprehensive Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care training and earn their Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP®) credential.
This education equips our caregivers with advanced knowledge in:
✔ Dementia progression and brain changes
✔ Compassionate communication techniques
✔ Interpreting and redirecting behaviors
✔ Person-centered engagement strategies
✔ Supporting families through every stage of memory loss
This ensures dementia expertise is not limited to a few individuals — it is embedded throughout our entire team.
Nationally Certified Dementia Education
Our staff are also trained through Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) Dementia Educator Certification Program, preparing them to become true Dementia Champions.
Teepa Snow’s Approach™ focuses on understanding which parts of the brain are changing — and how to use the abilities that remain. This hands-on, skills-based training helps our team:
Strengthen relationships
Reduce resistance during care
Lower stress for residents and families
Improve communication using brain-based techniques
Deliver deeply personalized, respectful support
PAC training includes demonstrations, guided practice, and mentor feedback — building real-world confidence in every caregiver.
